| Nickname: Garance miniaturist painter contemporary calligrapher Such as color and the plant dyers. Surname: Dominique Veyre I was born in Albertville in (Savoie) FRANCE in 1960. I was attracted by the Children's artistic vocation. I spend hours drawing, reading and writing with a taste for poetry and decided color. But then I could include a school of art from family reasons. My genealogy has several artists: a painter in fresco from northern Italy and a poster died in the war in Algeria. I am a literary curriculum and then get a second choice of a nursing degree psychiatric sector in 1982. I work over 20 years in the extra hospital before deciding to join the artistic path. In this context, I practiced the animation of writing workshops, visual arts and creative expression for adults and children struggling with autism and psychotic Meanwhile I make more: Training on the job: leading workshops of plastic arts and expression and nonverbal communication with painter Jean Marc SCOTTI... ... Formation calligrapher over three years in Tours, Alcuin Institute through a conversion device in service. Meetings and working with such illuminators: René of BARDONNIE, Keith ADAMS.... Learn the traditional techniques of illumination on parchment and calligraphy and contemporary possibilities of expression. My first creation heavily influenced by the poetic and philosophical writing and calligraphy and the naturalistic aspect of illumination has evolved into a painting that becomes progressively abstractive with a strong taste for color, detail and expression of emotions, psyche and spiritual evolution. I explore my imagination in tune with the language, words, symbols and the reality of the world. The working themes are universal: Apocalypse, moving towards unity, light and shadow, the goddess mother....... a technical work of starting pigments on parchment or gouache on paper , now I explore various possibilities of wood, canvas acrylic, oil and other mediums. I also work on command. In 2005 opened a workshop to be initially located in Savoy and now Meillerie small fishing port of Lake Geneva in Haute Savoie, near the Swizerland border. Creations, exhibitions and events and training courses and follow one another with the hope of sharing and expression of the creative potential of each and a creative evolution of the shape bases and means combining traditional and contemporary techniques around a universal poetic and pictorial expression. |
