ARTISTIC STATEMENT

Painting is a meaningful way of reaching deep inside and heal the core of my soul. The white canvas represents a meditative space, a place where all materials are ready to be nested. The abstractive sense of my background paintings is rather cold and Cartesian. Composed by the combination of acrylic, India's ink, felt-and-mortar. My first interest is somehow intuitive and arbitrary in its elementary forms that evolve into an assembly of constant detail. The geometric elements and color scheme help to get closer to a visual construction and makes it recognizable, sometimes suggesting a living place, persons or animals. Through drawing and painting, I seek the vital mystery of life, birth, transformation, progression, and movement.
