| ARTISTIC STATEMENT |

| Born in Saguenay-Lac St-Jean on January the 4th 1949, he is the 7th child of a large family. As soon as elementary school, his interest for arts has been important. He studied in art school doing drawing, sketch and backgrounds for theater. With Amirondeau group, he published three poetry books and wrote artistic presentations. In Montreal area, he studied painting for seven years with Lorraine Landry. Refining his style and developing his talent. In the class of art critic and school of fines arts teacher Guy Robert, he learned more about art history. His works have been published in magazines, received mentions and prizes in solo or collective exhibitions. Some are parts of private or public collections in Canada and abroad. In 1992, with the help of painter Louise Lavoie, he found l’association des artistes de la SAQ, now retired of professional responsibilities, he puts on canvas his thoughts, observations and feelings. Versatile, sensible and instinctive, he works on different series. Since 2009, he is giving private painting classes in his studio. |

| Exhibitions, awards and mentions : 2011-2012 Nov.- Dec.- Jan. : Permanent exhibition at the VIP gallery of Château Royal in Laval 2011 November : Bronze award, figurative frontier category at the 28th international contest of visual arts light and sound. 175 artists presented 580 pieces of arts.
