| Originally from Russia, Anastasia has lived in Montreal since 2007. Multidisciplinary artist, painter, graphic designer and arts teacher, Anastasia received her art training in the Russian cultural tradition . While taking art courses at the School of Contemporary Art at Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art she became particularly fascinated by Russian avant-guard movement. In her artworks Anastasia is seeking to combine urban aesthetics with colour intensity and classical painterly approach. Having rich background in different media, such as oil, watercolour, tempera, acryl, charcoal, pastel, mixed technique and batik she generates her own unique decorative style, distinctive by its picturesqueness and clear visual structure After having explored various creative jobs, she became very passionate about CG graphics. |
