ARTISTIC STATEMENT
Painting is my medium. It's a passion that calms me.
When I leave home, my eyes wander over every where; a thing, an object, an advertisement, the reaction of a stranger, and it becomes the object of my reflection and feeds my suggestive thoughts.
While remaining available, it leaves me in an uncomfortable state of doubt and tension, and then, new path opens up and inspires me. This availability creates a space where anything is possible, a living space, a place of creation.
To my opinion, sharing information is directly related to human experience, and there are two poles in my approach: emotion and rational, representation and abstraction. The creative energy released between these two poles becomes the driving force which spikes and tame my life. My paintings reveal the human emotions through the energy that lives beyond my own questions. After living and going through the early stage of liberation and introspective painting such as explicit Self-Portrait Series # 1 to # 4 (2002) and small series formats also numbered (2004) or the gates of hell are not for you (2004), my first preoccupations of formal research have become my main focus.
Being fascinated by the form and symbolism of the perfect circle, my research focuses on interactive and representation of different aspects of circular elements within its surroundings, it can either exclude or include or protect or be imprisoned, it can hit or become a warm welcoming feeling. All of this is part of our soul, the unique traveler of the universe.
