Sherrill Girard is a Canadian artist who lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She works from her studio located in the Art Deco RCA Building in St. Henri, a burgeoning urban arts quartier in south Montreal. She has traveled extensively and painted and exhibited internationally in Canada, the UK, Europe, the United States and Japan. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections in Canada, Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Sherrill received her art education at a number of institutions, including the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Ontario College of Art, the University of Guelph and recently Dawson College in Montreal. Sherrill Girard is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, Le Cercle des Artistes Peintures Sculpteurs du Quebec, as well as several other arts organizations. Using the mediums of paint and photography, Sherrill is currently exploring and painting the wilderness of the Quebec Laurentians as well as the back streets, buildings and rail yards of urban Montreal.
